Job Description
Position Summary
The Director, Strategic Initiatives is responsible for leading the identification, development, and execution of high-impact critical initiatives that drive business growth, operational excellence, and transformation across the region and/or global function.
This role works closely with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans. It ensures alignment across commercial, operational, and functional groups. It delivers measurable outcomes within a sophisticated, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution

Translate enterprise and regional strategy into executable initiatives and implementation roadmaps

Define clear milestones, KPIs, and success measures aligned to business priorities

Drive alignment between global strategy and regional execution
Transformation & Change Leadership
-
Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives across commercial, operational, and digital domains
-
Act as a change agent to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working

Ensure sustainability and scalability of implemented initiatives
Program & Portfolio Management
-
Manage a portfolio of pivotal initiatives end-to-end (from concept to execution)

Establish governance frameworks, including tracking progress, risks, and dependencies

Ensure delivery of initiatives on time, within scope, and delivering measurable impact
Business Analytics & Performance Insights

Lead all aspects of the development and use of analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools

Provide insights on business performance, trends, and improvement opportunities
-
Support data-driven decision making across leadership teams
Financial Planning & Performance Management
-
Support financial planning processes including Annual Budget, Forecasts, and ASR cycles
-
Supervise and evaluate financial impact of central initiatives
-
Find opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and efficiency improvements
Cross-functional Teamwork & Partner Management

Partner with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, and other functions

Influence senior partners and align priorities across regions
-
Drive execution through teamwork in a matrix environment
Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field)
-
MBA or equivalent advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience
-
Meaningful progressive experience in strategy, consulting, commercial operations, or transformation
-
Proven experience leading sophisticated, cross-functional critical initiatives
-
Experience working in global, matrixed organizations preferred
