Job Description

The Purchase to Pay Team Lead plays a pivotal role in leading a team of Finance professionals responsible for Purchase to Pay (PTP) and Hire to Retire (HTR) services across the MEA region. As a key member of the Centre of Excellence (COE), the Team Lead is acting as a bridge between strategic initiatives and daily operations, ensures operational excellence, compliance, people development, and the successful delivery of finance projects. The role requires strong leadership, financial expertise, and end-to-end project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

What will I be doing?

  • Customer Feedback & Service Improvement: Leverage feedback from hotels to enhance service quality, responsiveness, and customer experience.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with hotel teams, COE functions, IT, and corporate stakeholders to align priorities and deliver effective outcomes.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build a high performing, engaged, and resilient team culture focused on growth and continuous learning.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive automation, system enhancements, and process optimization to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability by leveraging data and automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate).
  • Change Management: Lead knowledge transfer and drive adoption of new tools, technologies, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Project Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time, with clear documentation, strong stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes.
  • Performance: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, or tracking tools to monitor project metrics and operational KPIs.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, audit standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Education: University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Direct experience working in finance or shared services, with experience in a team management or team leadership position.
  • Technical Knowledge: A command of ERP and Payroll systems (Navision, Oasys), and data tools (Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate).
  • Language: Fluent English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality finance, centralised finance teams, or cross-border operations.
  • Exposure to project delivery, transitions, or process centralization in a finance context.
