Team Lead, Quality & Revenue Assurance, Global Projects & Industry Solutions, Air & Sea, Abu Dhabi

The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for coordinating with the operations team, clients and accounts department daily with the objective of ensuring that the client invoices are raised and dispatched in a timely manner for the completed jobs.

Responsibilities

• Generate and review unbilled and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Coordinate with the Operations team daily to obtain job files, supporting documentation and billing information.
• Verify customer charges against contractual terms, purchase orders (POs), and approved quotations prior to invoice issuance.
• Allocate customer accounts and projects to the billing team, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of invoicing activities.
• Maintain valid customer contracts and purchase orders, coordinating renewals and extensions as required.
• Ensure invoices are prepared accurately using the appropriate charge codes and applicable billing terms.
• Verify that all relevant costs have been posted or appropriately accrued before issuing final invoices.
• Ensure invoices are issued within the company’s established Key Performance Indicator (KPI) timelines.
• Obtain the necessary approvals for loss-making jobs, credit notes, and other exceptional billing adjustments.
• Ensure invoices are submitted to customers accurately and on time through the agreed communication channels and platforms.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer billing enquiries, invoice discrepancies, and other invoicing-related matters.
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes and customer complaints in collaboration with the Operations, Finance and Sales teams.
• Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to address payment discrepancies, outstanding balances, and collection-related issues.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by providing responsive, professional, and effective billing support.
• Prepare and present monthly reports on invoice performance, credit notes, billing status, and related KPIs for management review.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve billing processes, enhance invoicing accuracy, and strengthen customer satisfaction.
• Proactively manage customer relationships to facilitate the timely resolution of invoicing disputes and minimize recurring billing issues.
• Monitor customer account financials and Statements of Account (SOAs) to maintain accurate account balances, minimize overdue receivables, and support healthy cash flow.
• Perform other related duties, responsibilities, and projects as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor to support business requirements and operational objectives.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Characteristics

Education – Bachelor Degree in Accounting of Finance

Work Experience – At least 5 years experience in accounting in similar capacity.
