Team Leader - Warehousing

Job Description

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
• Lead and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor to manage stock replenishment.
• Conduct regular training sessions for team members on warehouse practices, safety, and equipment use.
• Utilize LFS Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage order fulfilment.
• Operate and instruct others on the use of RF scanners for inventory management and order picking.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies including daily stock reconciliation with inbound and outbound record.
• Analyse operational performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing and fulfilment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Handle and resolve employee issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges for management review.
