Technical Specialist - Tooling - 12 Months Contract

A Snapshot of your day

Your day involves conducting hands-on inspections and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools to ensure they are safe, functional, and fit for purposes. Working closely with the Technical Service Manager, Tooling Specialists, and Helpers to support daily tooling operations while promoting a strong EHS culture. Providing flexible support across the tooling facility and traveling to project sites throughout the Middle East region as required.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and devices to ensure safety, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Support Tooling Specialists with inspection, testing, troubleshooting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
• Perform on-site inspections and testing at project locations across the region, providing technical support as required.
• Foster strong collaboration between technical associates and Tooling Specialists while proactively promoting EHS compliance, safety awareness, and participation in quality and EHS programs.
• Assist with tool procurement activities when needed and demonstrate flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency or urgent operational requirements.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline, supported by at least 3 years of technical education.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in tool, equipment, or industrial maintenance, with strong knowledge of inspection, servicing, and repair activities.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools, with a good understanding of standard office systems and procedures.
• Experience working with hydraulic equipment and within a warehouse or industrial environment is advantageous.
