Job Purpose

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Teller, you will represent Emirates Islamic by delivering exceptional customer service and accurately managing a wide range of banking transactions. The role requires strong customer engagement, operational accuracy, compliance awareness, and the ability to identify opportunities that enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, remittances, cheque cashing, and loan payments.
• Handle cash management activities, ensuring proper balancing of cash drawers and adherence to security procedures.
• Open and service customer accounts in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service by responding to customer queries professionally and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Identify customer needs and create awareness of relevant banking products and services through quality referrals.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer requests while ensuring operational and audit compliance.
• Support branch operations and contribute to achieving service quality standards and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with branch colleagues and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• UAE National with Family Book.
• High School Diploma, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior banking, cash-handling, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic numerical and computer proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and customer focus.
