MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The Consumables Manager is responsible for the effective planning, procurement coordination, inventory management and distribution of medical and non-medical consumables across the hospital. The role ensures uninterrupted availability of consumables while maintaining optimum inventory levels, minimizing wastage and expiry, supporting cost containment initiatives, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies, regulatory requirements and patient safety standards. The Consumables Manager collaborates closely with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to ensure timely supply of consumables that support high-quality patient care and operational excellence.
