Mission:
Located in Abu Dhabi, under the responsibility of the Regional Human Resources Director, you will assist the HR Regional Team with development, various HR & Organization projects. In an industry which is highly competitive you play an important role in assisting the retention on human resources through prompt actions directed towards organizational growth
Responsibilities:
HR Training & Development:
Develop the network and communication between the various agencies within the region in close coordination with the HO.
Organize and lead learning & development sessions to support Business teams with tailored solutions in accordance with training legislation, HR policy and allocated budget.
Collect and analyze business needs
Develop and lead individual or collective learning & development solutions
Organize all learning solutions in their scope to meet with internal and external clients
Reporting
Strengthen the reporting processes; the maintenance and development of HR reports (locally and to the HO)
Responsible for updating and developing HR presentations for Top Management.
HR Projects & Initiatives:
Participate in the various cross-functional HR projects with HR participants of the Group (annual performance appraisal, etc.)
Establish, harmonize and develop a Middle East frame of HR processes and policies with the Agencies Country Director and the team in monitoring and ensure that same is well communicated and understood by the employees
Propose proactively solutions and action plans to further develop and improve the performance management culture and support the roll-out of special HR Projects as required
Administrative Tasks:
You hold a master’s degree in HR and at least a 2 years’ experience in a generalist or development HR function.
Working in an international and multicultural environment, outstanding written and spoken English is mandatory.
You are a self-starter and proactive person, with the ability to deal with difficult and complex issues and work with people at different levels across the business environment. You possess excellent interpersonal skills, inspire trust and team spirit.
High level of competence using various software applications, including Excel (simple functions/ Pivot Table) and PowerPoint.
Some previous working experience in Gulf countries and an interest in the shipping industry is an additional asset which would allow you to fully succeed in this mission, which would be an excellent starting point for a career within our company.

- With the help of the administrative team, you are the guarantor of all administrative elements and personnel files, you ensure that they are complete and up to date for the DRO (work contract, amendment, job description, etc.). You update the HRIS after each event (recruitment, change of status, end of contract, etc.).
- If necessary, you will be responsible for updating job descriptions in accordance with the Group's job reference system.
