We are seeking a Waiter to provide friendly, efficient, and professional table service while following Le Relais de l’Entrecôte’s service standards and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional dining experience.

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Le Relais de l'Entrecôte, Business Bay, Dubai

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating when required.
• Present the concept and explain the menu, cooking temperatures, beverages, and desserts.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary requirements and allergies.
• Enter orders correctly into the POS system and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Serve the salad, steak-frites courses, beverages, and desserts according to the restaurant’s service sequence.
• Ensure the second serving is delivered at the correct time and temperature.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout the meal and respond promptly to requests.
• Upsell beverages, desserts, coffee, and other available items professionally.
• Maintain clean, properly set tables and prepare the station before, during, and after service.
• Coordinate closely with runners, hostesses, kitchen staff, bartenders, and supervisors.
• Present bills accurately, process payments when assigned, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Handle guest complaints calmly and refer serious concerns to a supervisor.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming, and health and safety standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and daily side duties.
• Attend briefings and maintain good knowledge of promotions, unavailable items, and VIP reservations.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Previous experience as a waitress in a busy restaurant is preferred.
• Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Friendly, confident, attentive, and guest-focused personality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage several tables.
• Good knowledge of restaurant service and basic food-allergy procedures.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and upselling skills.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Professional appearance and high grooming standards.
