Responsibilities

  • Handle EC&FZ collection process to ensure that outstanding receivables are recovered in a timely manner as per credit terms.
  • Handle cash/cheques from investors, validate amounts received with Receivables Accountants and review all required documents before issuing payment receipts.
  • Initiate customer statement of account and follow up with customers for overdue payment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer’s payment, follow up activity, disputed invoices and customer minutes of meetings
  • Follow up postdated cheques and raise customer returned cheque to the management.
  • Prepare reports with regards to cash collection and accounts receivables when requested of all collections made by Clusters
  • Prepare documents relating to month end closing
  • Act as Accounts Receivables Receipt User for Accounts Receivables Module

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a relevant field
  • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Finance, Accounts Receivables, Credit Control etc.
  • Knowledge on ERP and CRM preferably Oracle financials
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong understanding of billing and collection processes.
  • Problem solving, and analytical skills required
  • Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
  • Good administrative skills
  • Work under pressure.
