Accounting Supervisor (IFRS, GAAP, TAX, Audit)

Job Summary
This position is within Energy Products and Services Shared Service team. The key role to manage external Audits, Tax, ICV and SOX reporting. Responsibilities include managing and developing the team, ensure timely and accurate reporting, working closely with business and Corporate teams and process improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage external audits and tax filing and ensure timely completion of the audits
- Manage filing of VAT, CIT and other direct/indirect taxes
- Ensure completion ICV Certification on time and collaborate for ICV score improvements opportunities
- Ensure timely and accurate SOX reporting in accordance with NOV Accounting Control Manual
- Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to assess risks and due diligence for safeguarding resources
- Identify opportunities for automation to enhance productivity
- Highlight opportunities to enhance efficiency
- Implement best practices and standardize processes across ME ledgers
- Attend various ad-hoc request

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA/ACCA/CA or equivalent preferred
- 4 – 5 years of experience in similar role
- Well versed with IFRS / US GAAP standards
- Big 4 working experience is an advantage
- Must be detail-oriented and organized to ensure quality results
- Ability to work as a team member, multi-task, analyse information to draw a conclusion and meet deadlines
- Good knowledge of internal controls and understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Experience with ICV Certification
- Experience with ERP (JDE, Oracle)
