We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Accounts & Operations Executive to join our team in the automotive sector. This role combines accounting functions with operational tasks, ensuring that both financial records and operational processes are managed efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, alongside practical knowledge of automotive industry operations, and will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the organization.
- Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Invoice Management: Ensure that all invoices are properly issued, received, and recorded; manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies between company records and bank statements.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and manage operational expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial plans.
- Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings and ensure timely submission of statutory returns (sales tax, VAT, etc.).
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, offering insights into financial health and operational performance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control systems for automotive parts, ensuring stock levels are monitored, and proper records are maintained.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and distribution of automotive parts and accessories.
- Order Processing: Oversee the smooth processing of customer orders, ensuring that parts and products are shipped in a timely manner and customer expectations are met.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency and work closely with the Managing Director to implement solutions that streamline processes.
- Customer Support: Assist with resolving operational issues raised by customers, including product discrepancies, order delays, or inventory shortages.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all operational activities are documented, in line with legal and regulatory requirements for the automotive sector.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, operations, or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and operational processes within the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage with multiple teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
