Role at a Glance
The NDT Advanced Specialist is crucial to our industrial inspections at notable providers in the region. This role is essential in meeting customer needs by conducting robotic inspections of oil and gas assets located in onshore facilities, offshore platforms, and other industrial environments. When not on-site, the specialist will perform tasks in the workshop, including robot maintenance, assisting in the development of procedures, and training newer technicians.

Role at a Glance
The NDT Advanced Specialist is crucial to our industrial inspections at notable providers in the region. When not on-site, the specialist will perform tasks in the workshop, including robot maintenance, assisting in the development of procedures, and training newer technicians.
What You Will Do
- Make sure to follow all safety policies in the field and shop, as well as identify potential safety hazards
- Oversee and operate robotic inspection equipment and ensure data integrity in industrial environments
- Ensure the highest customer satisfaction through effective communication and job execution
- Solicit and relay customer and product feedback for the purposes of improving quality and scope of services
- Complete various administrative functions, including expense reports, time sheets, and other paperwork covering activities in the field
- Participate in the training process for NDT professionals
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the technical details of the company's service offerings and tools
- Maintain compliance with all customer-required background checks and drug screening requirements
Required Skills
- Must have PCN Level II in UT and UTPA
- 5+ years of Phased Array experience working in the oil & gas industry
- Experience with PAUT Corrosion Mapping
- Strong reporting and documentation experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft/Google suite
- Ability to meet physical requirements
- A team player who is proud of what Gecko has to offer and represents the company with enthusiasm at customer sites
- This job operates in multiple environments, with fieldwork performed in confined spaces, at heights, and in multiple weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold
- Experience with RBI preferred but not required
- Experience in a lead technician role is preferred
