The Advertising Design Manager leads a cross-functional team of designers, copywriters, and programmers with clients across the Middle East. The role is responsible for the design, copy, and technology that powers performance for our client's marketing campaigns. The role works closely with campaign managers, sales, and management to ensure client satisfaction and client return on ad spend (ROAS). The role will be responsible for leading and managing a team, while also actively contributing to design and creative tasks. Additionally, the role is involved in ad product design and works closely with department leadership on product design for special projects and other special assignments.

In this role, you will:

• Design, create, and test high-quality ad creative and landing pages
• Lead and manage a cross-functional team, including designers, and programmers to ensure cohesive project execution
• Coordinate resource and maintain department organisation using project management software such as clickup
• Prioritise tasks, oversee project timelines, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure the team meets internal and external deadlines
• Work with a range of media and keep up to date with emerging technologies
• Think creatively to produce new ideas and fresh concepts for clients
• Conduct and present qualitative and quantitative research and incorporate findings into mobile and web experiences
• Design banners and communication materials for different purposes and channels: email marketing, newsletters, and social networks
• Assist with the design of graphics, presentations, data visualisations, infographics, and animations
• Light video and gif editing, photo retouching, background removal, cropping, resizing, etc

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related to design or art
• 5 years or more of design experience
• 2 years or more of manager experience
• Experience in Visual Ideation/Creativity Typography Design Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, a must.) Multimedia Design Software (After Effects, etc.) Color Theory Web Design, Conversion Optimization, and Print Design
• Experience working with a marketing or commercial team and evidence of this work an advantage
• Excellent with Figma
• Great with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar software
• Working knowledge of front-end code related to design such as HTML and CSS
• In-depth knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
• Knowledge of developing marketing/advertising campaigns
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Fluent English
• Exceptional work ethic and a can-do attitude, a high willingness to try
• Ability to manage own workload and changing demands
• A keen eye for detail
• Can perform under pressure and operate in a fast paced environment
