Our Markets Traders identify, analyse and execute opportunities in the market, supporting the needs of our clients in a professional and fully compliant way. Our Markets business aims to become the leading emerging markets fixed income, financing, and securities service franchise, and a leader in sustainable finance, advisory, trading and asset servicing.

The business will achieve this by expanding product capabilities, building on footprint market strength, developing our talent and using technology to transform our ways of working. About Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)

For more than 170 years we’ve support clients with their transaction banking, financial markets, corporate finance and borrowing needs and provide solutions to nearly 20,000 clients in the world’s fastest-growing economies and most active trade corridors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely interest rate instrument pricing service to Sales staff and to meet customer needs (both internal and external) at competitive prices
• Help senior Traders on analyse the risks and managing positions
• Expand the current product offering through the testing and implementation of new trading models.
• Enhance SCB’s name in trading of interest rate products
• Establish and maintain a network of relationship with other SCB Global Market Centres, in particular other interest rate trading counterparts to maintain communication on global market movements
• Monitor regulatory and market developments and provide feedback on the market and the business to Sales and Management
