Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Financial Reporting: Collaborate with clients to understand their financial reporting needs and provide assistance with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards.
- Technical Accounting & IFRS Support: Research and support the implementation of IFRS and other technical accounting standards. Assist with IFRS conversions and provide guidance on accounting treatments.
- Project Management & Audit Support: Assist in the management of day-to-day activities for client projects, including preparing financial reports, managing timelines, and ensuring deadlines are met. Support clients in preparing for audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare high-quality reports and presentations to support decision-making and client communications.
- Research & Compliance: Conduct research on emerging accounting standards and financial regulations to provide actionable insights for clients. Support compliance assessments and ensure clients adhere to financial regulations.
- Continuous Learning & Team Collaboration: Engage in internal training and development sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and technical standards. Work closely with senior consultants and team members to drive project success.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Interest in Accounting & IFRS: A strong interest in financial reporting, IFRS, and accounting practices, with a passion for learning about their practical applications in business.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software or tools is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work accurately and with precision when preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and opportunities through financial data analysis.
- Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to clearly present complex accounting concepts. Collaborative and willing to work effectively in a team environment.
- Learning Orientation: Enthusiasm for continuous learning and development within the accounting and finance field.
- Willingness to travel within the UAE as required
- Available to start immediately
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
