Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure APIs to support business applications and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Ensure API performance, scalability, and security
- Integrate APIs with databases, third-party services, and front-end apps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver API requirements
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Strong proficiency in Node.js / Java / .NET / Python (as per stack)
- Experience with API design standards (OpenAPI/Swagger)
- Solid knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Familiarity with authentication & authorization (OAuth, JWT)
- Experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
