Application Administrator ( Information Security ) (UAE National)

Job Description

• 1 .Coordinate administrative aspects of information security governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to established policies and regulations .
• Support the development and implementation of administrative procedures, policies, and standards to safeguard sensitive data, systems, and networks against cyber threats.
• Support administrative security operations, incident response, and monitoring activities to maintain security controls, detect incidents, and respond promptly to security breaches.
• Conduct administrative reviews, assessments, and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures, identify administrative vulnerabilities, and recommend administrative actions.
• Provide expert administrative guidance on security strategies, practices, and technologies to support the organization in maintaining an administrative framework for security and resilience.
• Coordinate administrative incident response exercises and simulations to test the organization's readiness and response capabilities in the event of a security incident or breach.
• Support the planning and execution of administrative security projects and initiatives, including the implementation of new administrative security technologies, tools, and processes to enhance the overall effectiveness of administrative security measures.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff awareness and understanding of information security policies and best practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelors in Information Security, Science in Cybersecurity Information Technology or a related field

Certifications -

Preferred:

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), OR

CertifiedEthical Hacker (CEH), OR

Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), OR

any other relevant certifications

Nationals:

Diploma with 8+ years of overall experience, with 3 years of experience in information security and or information technology;

Bachelors with 2+ years of overall experience, with 2 years of experience in information security and or information technology
