Hilton is looking for a strategic and dynamic Assistant Director to join our RMCC MEA in Dubai. In this role you will work to maximise revenue and profits for multiple hotels by leading strategic revenue management initiatives, conducting commercial reviews, and aligning with regional stakeholders. This role is central to Hilton’s mission of delivering excellence in profit, people, customer satisfaction, and quality.

What will I be doing?

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead a team of Cluster Revenue Managers, Senior Cluster Revenue Managers, Revenue Executives, and Team Leads.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Training Manager to ensure robust training programs.

Commercial Strategy & Execution

  • Conduct commercial reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Align with Commercial Directors and Operational VPs to implement strategic actions.
  • Represent RMCC in regional Commercial Focus Meetings (CFMs).
  • Drive incremental EBITDA, RevPAR, and Fair Market Share.

Revenue Management & Analysis

  • Ensure pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgment.
  • Conduct weekly system audits and reporting reviews.
  • Analyse booking pace, room statistics, and demand trends.
  • Identify underperforming hotels and implement targeted strategies.

Project & Change Management

  • Lead strategic projects aligned with RMCC’s annual goals.
  • Implement new tools, systems, and processes.
  • Evaluate training impact on business performance.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with hotel management, commercial teams, and other departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations).
  • Promote RMCC services to non-RMCC hotels.
  • Maintain alignment with global revenue management objectives.

  • Prioritise data analysis to meet brand targets.

  • Ensure commercial decisions are data-supported.
  • Maintain consistent quality across teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of SOPs.

  • Build trust with hotel and commercial stakeholders.
  • Promote RMCC to brands and owners.

People

  • Provide training and development opportunities.
  • Support effective succession planning.

Specific Responsibilities

Information Analysis & Monitoring

  • Analyse room statistics, forecasts, and booking trends.
  • Ensure data accuracy and SMART action planning.

Driving Commercial Performance

  • Collaborate with RMCC and hotel teams to meet financial targets.
  • Identify and act on unrealised revenue potential.
  • Contribute to regional and brand commercial planning.

Recruitment & Development

  • Identify and recruit top talent.
  • Support new hires through certification and onboarding.
  • Design and deliver training programs.

Strategic Planning

  • Support RMCC growth through sales, service models, and planning.
  • Organise sales presentations and team changes.
  • Lead follow-up on GM and TMOS surveys.

Communication & Relationship Management

  • Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate feedback and idea sharing across teams.
  • Handle confrontational situations calmly and constructively.

Qualifications, Skills & Qualities

  • Degree-level education or equivalent (Hotel School, Apprenticeship, Graduate Training) – Preferred
  • Experience
  • Revenue management experience – Required
  • Commercial team management – Required
  • Corporate or area-level distribution/revenue experience – Preferred
  • Hilton systems experience (OnQ PMS, GRO RMS, Delphi FDC) – Preferred
  • Analytical, leadership, and communication skills – Must
  • People management and coaching – Must
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word – Must
  • Commercial mindset and proactive sales approach – Must
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented – Must
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills – Must
  • Ambitious and open to learning – Preferred
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) – Required with Arabic preferred
