Contract type: Full time

At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
Your impact
Thriving communities. Healthy cities. A brighter future. What we do is more than a job, we work every day to make the world better for all. In our Cities & Places work, we’re fiercely committed to the spaces we inhabit. That’s why we’re leveraging forward-thinking models, the latest technology and creative public-private partnerships to tackle our clients’ most complex challenges.
From large scale regeneration and climate change responses to multi-purpose and smart infrastructure, we’re delivering integrated and resilient solutions that reinvent cities, reconnect communities and create lasting value.
Based from our office in Dubai, Jacobs is seeking an Architect to help with design and coordination to deliver large-scale developments touching a number of markets such as residential, mixed use, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and coordination of all stages from concept design through to Issue For Construction. You will be looking for the ultimate solution that will add value to the design process and will be able to articulate your ideas and solutions confidently to decision makers.
You will be dealing with multidisciplinary design and coordination, communicating with internal technical stakeholders including structure, mechanical, electrical, fire and life safety professionals etc. You will be participating in workshops helping to guide teams in the right direction, ensuring that the quality of the deliverables is fully coordinated in line with client requirements.
We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work.
Here's what you'll need
You will be holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture with minimum 5 years experience post grad. Your experience should include design and delivery of various types of building projects of scale and complexity.
You will also be able to interface confidently with team members and Design Lead.
You will have experience in Revit Architecture and AutoCAD 2D. Exposure to working with BIM 360, Navisworks, InDesign and Photoshop are essential. Rhino, Grasshopper, Lumion and Enscape would be an additional advantage.
LEED certification would also be highly desirable.
Jacobs. A world where you can.
From our inclusive employee networks to our positive mental health champions – we’re committed to driving a culture of caring where you can be you. Joining Jacobs not only connects you locally but globally – and together, our diverse perspectives and unique backgrounds power our collective strength. We collaborate and share! By supporting one another, we all succeed.
With safety and flexibility always top of mind, we’ve gone beyond traditional ways of working so you have the support, means and space to maximize your potential. You’ll uncover flexible working arrangements, benefits, and opportunities to do good too – from participating in our global giving and volunteering program, to exploring new and inventive ways to help our clients make the world a better place. No matter what drives you, you’ll discover how you can cultivate, nurture, and achieve your goals – all at a single global company.
