Art Director

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Art Director to be fully seconded to a high-profile public sector client in Abu Dhabi for a fixed term of 1 year. This is an on-ground role in Abu Dhabi and will require close collaboration with the client’s teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of visual concepts across digital, print, social, and motion platforms.
• Direct the creation of storyboards, animations, layouts, and production-ready assets.
• Supervise and mentor designers, editors, and animators to ensure creative excellence.
• Integrate AI design tools and workflows to enhance efficiency and creative output.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to ensure brand alignment.
• Maintain visual consistency across all brand materials and touchpoints.
• Stay up to date with design, AI, and animation trends to drive innovation.
• Present ideas and concepts clearly to stakeholders and clients.
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to commute.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, design, digital, and motion work is a plus
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), , and AI-powered design tools.
• Experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro for video editing and animation.
• Deep understanding of brand systems, typography, layout, and motion principles.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
