Assistant Director of Finance

Job Summary:

As Assistant Director of Finance of our luxury 5-star hotel, you will oversee all financial aspects of our operation, ensuring the integrity of financial information, implementing robust financial controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing profitability, optimizing cash flow, and driving financial performance in alignment with the hotel's objectives.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all financial operations and directing corporate financial planning and structure.
• Coordinating, analyzing, and reporting the financial performance to Senior Management.
• Preparing short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
• Overseeing audit and tax functions, and coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms' performance.
• Optimize cash flow and treasury operations.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
  
  
  

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury 5-star hotels.
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in financial management software and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the hospitality sector.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
