Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager for a contractual opportunity with a duration of 12 months, located in Dubai, UAE. This is an exciting chance for a professional with a passion for financial statements preparation and audit coordination to contribute to our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall day-to-day requirements in client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, put in place the necessary standardized processes, anticipate and identify risks, resolve or escalate issues as appropriate and drive performance-improvement solutions.
• Assisting clients to improve and implement efficient financial reporting processes, implement new accounting standards, and advise on finance process controls and transformation.
• Assisting clients in their financial accounting processes, period-end closings, assistance in completing external audits, financial statements preparation, general accounting and internal optimization projects.
• Provide technical advice on accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and tax compliance, conduct analytical procedures, and support clients with complex accounting matters.
  
  

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• A relevant professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5-7 years working experience within a large professional services company or similar environment.
• Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards, relevant tax rules, procedures and guidelines.
• Have ability to win in the market, good negotiation skills and ability to work under challenging situations.
• Willingness to travel within UAE for client requirements.
