Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Internal Audit (AM-IA) will play a crucial role in overseeing internal audit activities, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and driving operational efficiency. This position requires a strong focus on consolidating results from continuous audits and drafting clear, insightful internal audit reports. The AM-IA will support the Chief Internal Auditor in maintaining an effective audit function within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and analyze results from continuous audits to identify key trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Draft high-quality, insightful internal audit reports with clear recommendations for senior management and the board.
• Assist in the development and execution of risk-based audit plans.
• Evaluate internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a strong business focus.
• Engage with key stakeholders to communicate audit findings and drive corrective actions.
• Mentor and oversee junior audit staff, fostering a strong audit culture within the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
• Minimum of 7+ years of core internal audit experience, preferably in financial services or exchange houses.
• Proven expertise in consolidating continuous audit results and preparing impactful reports.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of risk-based auditing and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in data analytics and audit automation tools is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to effectively present audit findings and influence key stakeholders.
