What Will Your Day Look Like?

The Premix Assistant Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor in managing and monitoring all premix production activities, ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards within the feed mill.

How Will You Make An Impact?

Operations

• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the premix section in line with the daily production plan.
• Maintain accurate batching, weighing, and mixing according to approved formulations.
• Monitor production performance and minimize downtime through proactive coordination with maintenance and planning teams.
• Track the consumption of raw materials, utilities, and labor efficiency to control production costs.
• Ensure all batches are produced in accordance with required quality standards and formulation specifications.
• Conduct regular checks on ingredient addition, mixing uniformity, and final product appearance.
• Review production and operating reports, and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
• Record all production data accurately in ASM, SAP, or other relevant systems.
• Enforce strict compliance with HSE, GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards within the premix area.
• Ensure all operators follow LOTO procedures, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls.
• Report any potential problems or hazards in the work area to the manager promptly.
  
  

MIS & Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports in line with GMFF and departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
  
  

Education

• High School Diploma or Feed Technology Diploma.
  
  

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in feed mill or premix production operations.
• Hands-on experience with batching systems, mixing equipment, and automated production control systems.
  
  

Functional Knowledge

• Strong understanding of factory and production line operations.
• Good knowledge of quality control measures and standards.
• Basic understanding of maintenance procedures and techniques.
