Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management: Oversee and manage daily construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.

Coordination: Act as a liaison between WSP, clients, consultants, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise.

Quality Assurance: Monitor construction processes and materials to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records of construction progress, changes, and any site issues. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to senior management.

Approval Management: Ensure that all necessary approvals and permits are obtained and maintained in compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations.

Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any technical or logistical issues related to underground utilities and infrastructure to minimize project delays.

Compliance: Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with local regulations, safety standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with a focus on underground utilities and related systems.

Local Knowledge: Proven experience working with consultants and regulatory bodies in Abu Dhabi, with a comprehensive understanding of local standards and requirements.

Approvals: Valid approvals and certifications to work on infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

Technical Skills: Strong technical background in infrastructure and underground utility systems, with proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex technical and logistical challenges.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certifications are a plus.
