Job Purpose

Responsible for the timely execution of closing, consolidation and reconciliation of accounts and financial reporting at Group Level.

Roles And Responsibilities

Group Reporting

  • Manage the closing and consolidation of all ledgers and accounts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Ensure Group balance sheet and P&L schedules are reconciled on a timely manner
  • Manage outstanding issues and concerns related to consolidation and financial reporting with Departments and subsidiaries
  • Process management reporting requirement, monthly/ Quarterly/ Yearly closures, audits and reviews
  • Assist in preparation and submission of other applicable internal and external reporting including monthly reporting to the shareholders
  • Ensure quarterly and annual financial statements follow the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Provide all support to internal and external auditors and promptly clarify all audit queries raised
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth external Audit verification in accordance with statutory requirements and applicable international accounting standards
  • Handle special analyses such as financial analysis and cash flows
  • Assist in acquisition and disposal accounting of subsidiaries/assets.
  • Assist in other adhoc reporting requirements.


Qualification And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Professional accounting qualification e.g., CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCA


RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Min of 7+ years of experience of consolidation, reporting, financial accounting and management accounting experience


Technical And Interpersonal Skills

  • Knowledge of and ability to apply international accounting standards/ IFRS and ERP systems (FCCS experience is preferred)
  • Knowledge of and ability to adhere to internal controls
  • Good analytical skills
  • Vigilant and detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong time management capabilities


Field Of Experience

  • Experience of accounting within real estate or related industry is preferred
  • Experience in complex Group-wide accounting, consolidation and reporting, preferably in a public company or large Group
