Assistant/Associate Professor of Management and Leadership

Job Description

The College of Business and Economics at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Management and Leadership. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and collegial academic environment and contribute to the continued development of high-quality teaching, research, and service at the college and university levels. The CBE has been accredited by AACSB since 2000. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels, a demonstrable research capability that will enable the candidate to develop and sustain an internally and/or externally funded research program in his/her area of expertise, publish his/her research findings in refereed journals, and actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAE University. English is the language of instruction and communication. Screening of applications will continue until the position is filled. Candidates are expected to have: - A Ph.D. in Leadership, Management, or a closely related discipline from a well-recognized and accredited university. - Experience in developing and delivering leadership programs and providing consultancy services in corporate settings. - Ability to design and deliver coaching sessions on leadership and managerial professional development, and to administer and interpret psychometric assessments - a strong commitment to teaching excellence and using pedagogical methods that emphasize practical applications at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, - a demonstrable research capability that will enable the candidate to develop and sustain an internally and/or externally funded research program in his/her area of expertise that will result in publishing his/her research findings in reputed refereed journals - the ability to actively engage in promoting the growth of the Business Administration programs and College of Business and Economics (CBE) at the UAEU. Minimum Qualification

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Leadership, Management, or a closely related field, preferably from an AACSB-accredited institution. Candidates should also demonstrate a strong research background in leadership, human resource management, and organizational behavior, as well as the ability to teach management courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Research and industry experience in Leadership/Management and related fields

Expected Skills

Candidates must be active researchers and have a strong record of scholarly excellence. Applicants should have a thorough knowledge of management theory and practice, and a commitment to research. Faculty members are expected to advise students; provide service to the university, college, department, and community; and conduct research and publish in their fields.
