Role Summary
The Audit Manager – IT and Cybersecurity will lead the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audits focusing on IT systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and technology governance. This role ensures that m42’s IT infrastructure and cyber defenses align with best practices, regulatory standards, and organizational objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in mitigating risks, enhancing operational efficiency, and promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in mitigating risks, enhancing operational efficiency, and promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead Audits: Plan and execute risk-based IT and cybersecurity audits across networks, applications, and cloud environments.
- Mitigate Risks: Identify vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen defenses against threats.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Work with IT and business teams to resolve audit findings, and present insights to leadership.
- Drive Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to IT and cybersecurity practices.
- Inspire Teams: Mentor audit staff and promote a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Experience: 7+ years in IT and cybersecurity auditing, ideally in a global or Big Four setting.
- Expertise: Knowledge of frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and proficiency in IT governance and compliance.
- Certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent.
- Skills: Analytical mindset, strong communication, and the ability to manage dynamic priorities.
