We are looking for an Auto Painter who will be responsible for making cosmetic repairs to vehicles and repainting them, often after collisions or accidents. In addition, few different specializations within the field of automotive paint colorists include Color formulation, Color matching and Quality control

Job requirements

Your role

To ensure success as an Auto Painter, you should have experience with body repair kits, spray painting and welding equipment, hydraulic lifters, and pneumatic saws.

• Assessing the extent of motor vehicle repairs, restoration, or customization requests.
• Preparing repair or modification cost estimates
• Regularly updating customers on the progress of their repairs.
• Restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition by removing dents, mending parts, removing rust, repairing scratches, and spray painting panels.
• Color matching and paint mixing
  
  

Your profile

Experience: 5+ years experiences as a Bodyshop Painter

• Auto Painter, or equivalent vocational training.
• Previous experience as an Auto Painter/Panel Beater would be advantageous.
• Spray painting, general welding, and brazing experience.
• Matching paint color scheme and mixing accordingly.
• Familiarity with the necessary equipment and the use of safety materials such as respirators, since exposure to toxic chemicals is frequent
• Detail-oriented mind, since a car painter is required to pay particular attention to color mix, various components or parts of a vehicle, etc.
