About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Barista to join the F&B Service team in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Take and serve guest orders promptly, including coffee, tea, juices, sandwiches, and pastries, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction
• Maintain full knowledge of the menu to advise guests and apply upselling techniques to increase sales and highlight daily specials
• Calibrate coffee machines and grinders daily, prepare mise-en-place, and ensure hygiene standards are met throughout the shift
• Process payments, check bill accuracy, and follow standard cashiering procedures while reporting stock issues or losses
• Monitor stock levels using FIFO, check expiry dates, and suggest near-expiry items for promotion to reduce waste
• Attend daily briefings, follow grooming standards, support team tasks, and adhere to company procedures and service standards

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• One or two years of experience in the same role with a strong F&B background in a 5-star luxury property or a standalone/branded venue.
• Proficient in English and a second language (Russian or European languages are desirable).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Micros, and Sevenrooms.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
