As a Barista Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop and ensuring that our guests receive the highest quality of service. You will also be responsible for managing a team of baristas and ensuring that they are trained and motivated to provide exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Manage the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling
- - Train and supervise a team of baristas, providing guidance and support to ensure that they adhere to company standards and deliver exceptional service
- - Monitor and maintain the quality of coffee and other beverages served, ensuring that they meet our high standards
- - Create and maintain a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded
- - Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- - Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that food and beverage offerings are consistent and of the highest quality
- - Conduct regular inventory checks and place orders for supplies as needed
- - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean working environment
- - Assist with scheduling and managing staff, including handling any performance issues and providing regular feedback and training
- - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotions and events to attract and retain guests
- - Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for new products and services to enhance the guest experience
- - Minimum of 5 years UAE experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced coffee shop or F&B establishment
- Having Barista Certification
- - Strong knowledge of coffee and other beverages, as well as food safety and sanitation guidelines
- - Excellent communication and leadership skills
- - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- - Customer service-oriented with a friendly and outgoing personality
- - Strong organizational and time management skills
- - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- - Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- - Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred
