Job Description
Join our vibrant team as a Bartender at SO/ Uptown Dubai. We're looking for a skilled and charismatic individual to create unforgettable experiences for our guests in one of the world's most exciting hospitality destinations.
- Craft and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including signature cocktails, to meet our guests' preferences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and local liquor laws
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure seamless service
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new products and mixology techniques
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously
- 1-2 years of previous bartending experience in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and spirits
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong multitasking abilities and time management skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bartending certification preferred
- Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) required
- Knowledge of local liquor laws and regulations
- Familiarity with Dubai's hospitality industry is a plus
- Ability to work in a diverse, multicultural environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
