We are looking for a reliable and diligent individual to join our production team as a Bending Machine Operator. Key Responsibilities – Bending Machine Operation, Production & Quality Control

• Operate and set up bending machines (press brakes, tube benders, or similar) to shape and form metal parts according to technical drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Monitor machine operation throughout production runs, making adjustments to settings as required to ensure output meets required quality and dimensional standards.
• Conduct routine machine inspections, basic preventive maintenance, and promptly report any faults or breakdowns to minimise>
• Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints and work orders to determine material requirements and proper machine configuration.
• Measure and check finished components using callipers, gauges, and other measurement tools, keeping accurate records of production and inspection results.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, complying at all times with health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements, participating in training and meetings to enhance skill set and production efficiency.
  
  

Required Skills – Bending Machine Operation, Metal Fabrication & Safety Awareness

• Hands-on experience with bending machines or similar metalworking equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving abilities and initiative when addressing minor machine faults.
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards, manual handling, and the safe operation of workshop machinery.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience – Bending Machinery, Manufacturing & Engineering

• Previous experience as a Bending Machine Operator or in a similar metal fabrication or engineering role is essential.
• Vocational training or certification in engineering, metalwork, or machine operation would be advantageous.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as callipers and gauges.
• Knowledge of different metals and their properties as related to bending and forming processes.
