Overview Of The Role:
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for delivering user-friendly business information to facilitate optimal decision-making. They transform data into actionable insights, developing various KPI reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. By performing detailed data analysis, the role identifies trends, opportunities, and potential risks, presenting these in an understandable manner that supports country and unit level decisions.

What You Will Do:
Business analysis and Analytics
- Prepare automated reports for circulation based on understanding store needs.
- Analyze possibilities to reduce manhour utilization in report creation.
- Circulate business analysis reports to support commercial decision making.
- Compile, organize, analyze and draw relevant conclusions from substantial amounts of data.
- Enhance reports based on feedback and train end users to improve efficiency.
- Prepare and circulate auto-generated Power BI reports and dashboards as per agreed timelines.
- Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly management information reports.
- Generate new reports and focus on continuous improvement of existing reports.
- Test and automate management information/business intelligence reports.
- Train users on automatic reports and help interpret them.
- Ensure timely circulation of Power BI reports and updated dashboards.
- Use defined methods to source, collect, sort, analyze, and share customer data for business insights.
- Generate data from digital sources to create reports on IKEA consumers and visitors.
- Produce and analyze reports from cross-channel data for decision making.
- Follow SOPs in ETL processes for BI and maintain databases for cross-channel data analysis.
- Analyze business needs and deliver actionable insights through automated dashboards and BI report.
- Strong sense of data storytelling, visual design, and user-centric dashboards
- Expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Service) for design & developing interactive dashboards and reports.
- Skilled in DAX, data modeling (star schemas, performance optimization), and data transformation using Power Query .
- SQL querying: including joins, subqueries, window functions, and Common Table Expressions
- University degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in analytical and numerical skills, effective communication, and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, databases, and data tables in Navision.
