Jacobs is looking for a talented Multi-Dimensional BIM Manager to join our Buildings & Logistics team in Dubai. You will be given the opportunity to lead and deliver the architectural Revit/BIM strategy and implementation on projects, whilst also working collaboratively to establish project BIM requirements in alignment with our BIM corporate strategy. You will also drive digital transformation across our design projects.

In addition, you will also be responsible for-

  • Liaising with Jacobs project stakeholders for all matters related to BIM.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to optimize design workflows and improve project delivery timelines.
  • Develop and implement BIM execution plans, standards, and protocols across all projects.
  • Implementation of BIM standards, processes and enabling technology to support project delivery.
  • Supporting our clients and projects to ensure BIM requirements are followed and BIM-related project goals are achieved.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in creating, maintaining, and updating 3D models using software such as Revit and Navisworks.
  • Establish quality control processes to ensure model accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Setting up systems to manage the information exchange process as defined in the BEP.
  • Automating routines in CAD/BIM to support standards and productivity.
  • Ensuring all productions are completed as per the schedule.
  • Provide training and technical support to team members on BIM software and best practices.

Here's what you'll need

As a successful candidate you will hold a relevant qualification within the built environment. Architectural background is preferred with strong skills for multi-dimensional management.

You will come with an in-depth understanding of Revit modelling and documentation skills, and ability to mentor team members to reach similar standards of Revit delivery along with experience in reviewing and coordinating engineering documentation.

You will be competent in setting up projects in BIM 360 and familiar with ISO 19650 and other industry standards.

An understanding of virtual coordination workflows, and ability to learn complicated BIM processes and software such as Navisworks, Dynamo, Civil 3D, InfraWorks & Rhino is essential
