To be considered for the role of Boarding Officer - Emirati Talent at GAC in the Shipping department, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Accountabilities
- Handle all operational matters relating to the vessel and cargo clearance with respective authorities – ensuring timely and professional completion of services.
- Maintain records and provide supporting information & documentation as required by shipping & logistics team.
- Liaise with authorities to obtain necessary passes and permits.
- Regularly meet with master whilst in port to understand additional requirements and coordinate with shipping teams for service delivery.
- On-time submission of receipts and settlement with the concerned.
- Assure the PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) are available and used as and when required.

To be considered for the role of Boarding Officer - Emirati Talent at GAC in the Shipping department, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates.
- Preferred 2 years of experience in a similar role within the shipping industry.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel when required.
