As a Branch Manager at Emirates NBD, your role is to…

The Branch Manager has direct accountability of the Branch's financial performance, operational control and customer service delivery. The responsibility spans across all segments of customers. A great deal of customer contact and internal interactions with support and control units are part of the role.

On a day-to-day basis, you will…

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to branch staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction y resolving escalated customer inquiries or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Drive branch sales initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets, including promoting bank products and services and identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Manage branch operations efficiently, including cash management, transaction processing and compliance with regulatory.
  • Recruit, train and develop branch staff to maximize productivity, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing coaching and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures and regulations to mitigate operational and financial risk.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customer to drive branch growth and profitability.
  • Prepare and analyze branch performance reports, identifying areas of improvement and implementing action plans as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience…

  • Holds diploma/ bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in retail banking with 4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge on banking products and services.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret data.
