Job Purpose

Material Handling Equipment Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that drive growth and increase market share for the new material handling equipment products. He will oversee the development and implementation of marketing plans, manage the product life cycle, conduct market research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the brand's success. He will also manage relationships with Principal, external partners and vendors and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute brand strategies and marketing plans that drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Manage the product life cycle from ideation to product launch and end-of-life.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and operations to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure brand consistency and quality.
  • Monitor and report on industry trends and competitive activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop and manage budgets and timelines for brand initiatives.
  • Manage the brand's online and offline presence, including social media, advertising, and events.
  • Measure and report on brand performance using key metrics such as sales revenue, market share, and brand awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Design the product specs along with the manufacturer and sales team according to the market needs
  • Manage the inventory of each brand and ensure inventory efficiency

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree preferably mechanical or marketing

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in brand management, product management, or related field.
  • Experience in the material handling equipment industry or related field is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of driving brand growth and increasing market share.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies
