Job Summary

Responsible for the Overall Retail Operations Performance (Mainly Sales Growth and Business plan Profit and Cost figures) for the Confectionary Retail Division of the Organization with world class customer service and international standards, driving the full potential of the entire sales force.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership – Direct the retail operations of the Confectionary Division to ensure productivity, service excellence, creativity, and guest satisfaction while maintaining compliance with legal and brand standards.
  • Business Growth & Projects – Spearhead projects related to new concepts, outlet openings, and store fit-outs, while supporting business plans, budgets, and process improvements across all existing and new concepts.
  • Financial & Performance Management – Review financial reports, monitor sales results, control costs, and implement measures to prevent waste, losses, and stock aging, ensuring achievement of overall business objectives.
  • Market & Customer Focus – Conduct competitor analysis and market research, assess customer satisfaction, and maintain strong customer relationships, handling feedback and complaints promptly.
  • Product & Brand Development – Drive innovation in products in collaboration with principals and buying teams, ensure proper visual merchandising, and uphold brand guidelines across all concepts.
  • People Leadership – Recruit, train, and coach staff, set KPIs with HR, implement recognition programs, and foster a unified management style and positive work culture across all stores.
  • Team Development & Succession Planning – Evaluate staff performance, administer personal development programs, and build succession pipelines to ensure high-performing, motivated teams.
  • Systems & Process Excellence – Establish SOPs, unify training manuals, enhance inventory and stock monitoring systems, and ensure effective communication across departments to optimize operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, or related field.
  • 5–9 years’ experience in Retail, F&B, or FMCG operations (multi-unit experience preferred).
  • Strong background in kitchen management, financial planning, and GCC expansion projects.
  • Proven leadership, people management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and Navision.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel locally & overseas.
  • Flexible to work extended hours when required.
