Job Purpose

Maintain safe driving record, follow all UAE driving laws, rules, and regulations. Follow prearranged routes to destinations Maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.

• Perform beginning-shift vehicle inspections before departure
• Complete bus route on schedule while stopping at all stops
• Safely transport employees/passengers
• Report all mechanical issues to the supervisor immediately
• Obey all traffic laws. Follow road safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary bus at all times
• Stick to a schedule and be time-bound on the job.
• Follow the prescribed routes most convenient for transport.
• Inspect, operate and maintain the vehicle and its cleanliness
• Maintain a log of all deliveries and related information for reference and confirmation.
• Practice safe driving habits
• Complete documentation such as logs, mileage
• Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety
• Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion

Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

Educational Qualifications

High school graduate.

Fluent in English and Arabic preferred. Should be able to read, write and communicate well in English

Professional Qualifications

Valid UAE drivers license for the Bus

Great time management and organization skills.

Good ability to drive with no prior violations.

Prior experience as a driver.

Other Requirements- Safety Accountability And Responsibilities

All staff has the following safety responsibilities and is accountable to their supervisor(s) and Head of Department:

• To comply with the relevant safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Aerodrome Operations Manual and Safety Management System and any other instructions or notices issued by Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
• To comply with the safety requirements detailed within their training.
• To advise their Head of Department and the Airport Duty Officer team of any safety occurrence or system failure and to identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting safety via one of the following means.
• Report directly to the Safety Department or an immediate supervisor.
• Submitting an Accident/ Incident Report.
