The Opportunity:
This is an exciting new opportunity for a Business Alliance Lead, Partner Business MEA to be based in Dubai, UAE. Reporting into the Senior Director, Partner Business TMEA, you will manage the countries and business partners within MEA by taking over full P&L responsibility for the territory. You will be responsible for the formulation and implementation of the medium to long term strategy for your region, in line with the overall Astellas strategy as well as the strategy of the TMEA Affiliate.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for Partners interactions across the whole MEA. The products in scope in Distributor markets: (Oncology, Hematology, Urology, Transplantation).
Support business case creation and pre-project activities to help drive strategic change and implementation across the territory.
Work with partners to understand business dynamics & priorities, frames the issues, design analytics & insights plans, ensure quality execution of those plans & delivery of actionable insights.
Prepare internally launch plans & business cases for the new products & represent brand plan performance with regional office colleagues.
Lead ILP process (Import licensed Program).
Responsible for inputting financial forecasts including sales, brand plans and A&P for forecasting and planning cycles for all Distributor markets
Ensure partner’s adherence to Astellas policies relating to Ethics and Compliance standards and interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) and Patient Organizations (POs).
Co-lead Market access & pricing. This involves adaptation of payer value proposition and messages (materials), Ensure appropriate material approval on systems as per Astellas policies, Communicate MAx strategy for products, Support in the creation of partners commercial market access business cases / Patient access initiatives.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
Proven experience in Sales, marketing, trade, market access position within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience across the GCC & Levant region.
Strong partnership management and ability to work with external partners and provide guidance and instructions.
The position requires a profound understanding of navigating political and cultural differences when managing key stakeholders internally and externally.
Strong and recent understanding of the pharma market dynamics and regulatory requirements in the area.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
Ability to work independently and engage with excellent communication skills.
Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, facilitating the development and implementation of commercial strategies with the partners.
Professional network building specially with external stakeholders.
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Pharma or equivalent.
Additional Information:
This is a permanent, full-time position
The position is based in Dubai, UAE.
Travel Requirement – Up to 60%
This position follows our hybrid working model. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
