Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst Consultant to join our team and provide PMO support across ongoing client engagements. The role is best suited for professionals with 2–5 years of experience in business analysis and project coordination, particularly with hands-on exposure to Jira within IT project management or consulting environments. The consultant will support the PMO in governance, reporting, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support PMO functions by assisting in project coordination, documentation, and portfolio tracking.
- Contribute to project reporting, dashboard updates, and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Configure the project in JIRA, carry out customizations (such as custom field creation), and manage the portfolio to support PMO governance, project tracking, and Agile delivery.
- Drive the design and implementation of Power BI based reporting connected to JIRA to streamline project tracking, enhance visibility, and support evolving automation objectives across the portfolio.
- Assist with governance processes, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and tracking action items, risks, and issues.
- Ensure adherence to project lifecycle methodologies, PMO frameworks, and standard templates.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication, alignment, and delivery of project objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience supporting Project Management Office (PMO) activities or similar roles.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Power BI (mandatory).
- Exposure to utilities sector or infrastructure-related projects (preferred).
- Familiarity with project management frameworks (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 methodologies); working towards certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a detail-oriented and collaborative mindset.
