Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Head of Business Development with over 15 years of experience to lead our strategic growth initiatives, global partnerships, and high-impact sales opportunities. This leadership role will be responsible for building and executing scalable business strategies that increase market share, expand revenue streams, and strengthen client relationships across key markets.

You will lead a team of business development professionals and collaborate closely with executive leadership, marketing, product, and delivery teams to drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Define, lead, and execute the overall business development strategy across geographies and verticals.

Identify and pursue strategic opportunities including new markets, customer segments, alliances, and partnerships.

Build and manage a high performing global business development team with a focus on revenue generation and client success.

Own the sales pipeline and business development targets; monitor key KPIs and performance metrics.

Develop strong executive-level relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and partners.

Work closely with product, marketing, and delivery teams to develop go to market strategies and tailored client solutions.

Lead negotiations for large, complex deals including proposals, pricing, contracts, and long term engagements.

Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and leadership forums.

Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to guide business strategy and innovation.

Ensure effective reporting, forecasting, and CRM utilization across the team Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

15 plus years of progressive experience in business development, strategic sales, or enterprise partnerships.

Proven success in leading BD teams and securing multimillion-dollar deals in industry e.g., IT services, SaaS, consulting, manufacturing, etc.

Deep understanding of B2B enterprise sales, consultative selling, and long-cycle deal closures.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities.

Expertise in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and pipeline analytics. Global BD experience, especially across US, Europe, APAC, or Middle East regions.

Exposure to M&A, joint ventures, or inorganic growth strategies.

Experience working in high-growth, tech-driven, or consulting environments.
