American Home Assurance company (AHAC) based in UAE, is a leading provider of insurance products and services for commercial and personal insurance customers. It includes one of the world’s most far-reaching property casualty networks. AHAC offers a broad range of products to customers through a diversified, Brokers distribution network and Multinational solutions to this region.
About the role
What you need to know:
Develop and manage New and Existing UAE Broker relationships on direct basis and to maximize profitable premium generation as per AIG’s UAE product offering and services. Prepare & analyze broker service plans, which are supported by internal stakeholders. Achieve New business and renewal/retention targets per Line of Business in collaboration with Product centers.
Identify and secure new opportunities and relationships.
Maintain an up-to-date prospective client list.
Manage and develop internal relationship with all profit centers and underwriters.
Keep abreast of trends and evolving regulations in UAE at different stages of insurance market maturity. Manage internal and external Service level agreements to meet distribution channels’ & clients’ expectations of performance and efficiency.
Drive and coordinate the multiline renewal process.
Assist with receivables management.
Regular visits & Meetings with Brokers to develop business and service existing portfolio. Ensure Broker & client engagement core disciplines and best practices are followed and utilized. Audit and compliance
Ensure adherence to internal audit requirements.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
Self-Motivated and Entrepreneurial
Commercial General Insurance experience (Product and Risk expertise)
Existing UAE market Broker relationship for commercial Lines.
Experience in developing business through UAE Brokers’ Market.
Strong Drive for Results and New Business Generation.
Excellent Time management skills and ability to multitask.
Financial Skills (Profit & loss account, budget, etc and marketing skills)
Fluent in English
Very Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in customer facing.
Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred extensive experience with large accounts of UAE market.
Training:
Marketing and Sale negotiation
Knowledge:
Have a thorough Knowledge and understanding all products, underwriting Appetite and capacity of UAE Insurance Industry.
