Job Summary:
In this role you will be responsible for acquiring new customers by selling existing products and services while developing business opportunities within a defined territory or customer segment. You will identify potential clients, develop sales strategies to penetrate these accounts and expand relationships to maximize revenue growth. This position requires a high level of self-motivation, persistence and creativity in seeking out new business opportunities.

Job Summary:
In this role you will be responsible for acquiring new customers by selling existing products and services while developing business opportunities within a defined territory or customer segment. You will identify potential clients, develop sales strategies to penetrate these accounts and expand relationships to maximize revenue growth. This position requires a high level of self-motivation, persistence and creativity in seeking out new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Generating leads and identifying new business opportunities through prospecting efforts
- Identifying qualified prospects and developing them into viable business opportunities
- Making cold calls to generate interest and set up meetings with key decision makers
- Developing and delivering compelling presentations to senior management on why our solutions are a good fit for their needs
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals
- Building long term relationships with clients by providing excellent service and support
- Staying current on industry trends and understanding how they impact your customers’ businesses
- Keeping accurate records of all activities related to client acquisition efforts
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience in a professional sales environment required
- Proven track record of success in a consultative sales process
- Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
- Excellent organizational abilities including time management, prioritization, multitasking and follow through
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of financial services industry preferred
- Experience using CRM systems
- Solid negotiation skills
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
