Job Brief:
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager specializing in Digital Services to drive business growth and expand market presence across the region. This role requires strong experience in IT solution sales, particularly in Enterprise Content Management, Digital Transformation, and workflow automation solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong consultative sales capability, project sales exposure, and the ability to engage and influence decision-makers at the enterprise level.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement business development strategies to promote digital solutions and services across the assigned market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across public and private sectors.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competitive trends.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial offers, and respond to RFPs.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to support long-term business growth.
- Lead consultative discussions with clients to understand business challenges and position appropriate digital solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align sales opportunities with delivery capabilities.
Solution & Project Leadership
- Promote and sell Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Document Management, Web Content Management, Imaging, Records Management, Collaboration platforms, and Digital Asset Management solutions.
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution design discussions, scope definition, and commercial structuring.
- Work closely with technical, project management, and delivery teams, ensuring smooth handover and implementation.
Commercial & Reporting
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecasting.
- Track and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and revenue targets.
- Ensure proposals, pricing, and margin structures align with business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in digital solution / IT project sales (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (Document Management, Web Content Management, Imaging, Collaboration tools, Record Management, and Digital Asset Management).
- Knowledge of business operations, including core sales processes, IT solution sales experience, and understanding the financial impact of margin and budget.
- Proven experience in project-based solution selling and account management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of commercial pricing, margins, and sales forecasting.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across client and internal executive levels.
- Strong relationship-building skills with enterprise and government customers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional business environment.
