Based in the strategic hub of Dubai, you will serve as the central point of contact for all prospective clients from China. This position starts as a freelance/part-time opportunity with significant potential for growth as we establish our presence in one of the world's most dynamic business environments.

The China Desk: A Strategic Client Hub
The China Desk is a specialized function designed to provide a premium, single-point-of-contact experience for our Chinese clientele. As a country desk manager, you will be more than a salesperson; you will be a trusted advisor, bridging cultural and business gaps to facilitate seamless global expansion for Chinese companies. Your deep understanding of Chinese corporate objectives and business etiquette will be crucial in translating the value of our EOR and market entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison and dedicated relationship manager for all inbound leads from Chinese companies.
- Develop and manage the entire sales cycle, from initial inquiry and consultation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert on the business needs and cultural nuances of Chinese clients.
- Proactively identify and engage Chinese companies that are planning international expansion.
- Provide expert consultation on how our Employer of Record services can solve challenges related to global hiring, compliance, and payroll without the need to establish local legal entities.
- Craft and present tailored proposals that address the specific expansion goals of each Chinese client, covering our service capabilities in over 50 countries.
Required Qualifications
Language & Cultural Expertise
- Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required for business communication and negotiations.
- Deep, demonstrable understanding of Chinese business culture, etiquette, and decision-making processes ("guanxi").
- Professional proficiency in English for seamless internal communication with our global teams.
Professional Experience
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Proven track record of successfully engaging and selling complex services to senior-level decision-makers within Chinese companies.
- Experience in professional services, such as consulting, international HR, legal services, or corporate services, is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to work autonomously and develop a market from the ground up.
- Strong organizational skills to manage a diverse pipeline of clients with interests in multiple countries.
- Proficiency with modern CRM and sales productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing professional network within the Chinese business community, either in Dubai or mainland China.
- Direct experience with Employer of Record (EOR), PEO, or global mobility services.
- A Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
