Job Description
Procurement & Sourcing
Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing FM-related materials, consumables, and services to ensure cost-effective, timely, and quality procurement that supports operational and maintenance requirements across sites.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration (engineering or technical background preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement within Facilities Management, Engineering, or Construction sectors.
Strong understanding of FM materials, MEP consumables, tools, and outsourced services.
Familiarity with HSE standards, UAE procurement regulations, and service-level compliance.
Proficiency in ERP procurement systems (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent).
Excellent skills in vendor negotiation, cost analysis, and contract management.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities with attention to detail.
Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for FM-related items such as tools, equipment, consumables, spare parts, and outsourced services.
- Obtain and analyze quotations, negotiate terms and pricing, and prepare vendor comparisons for approval.
- Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery in line with operational needs.
- Monitor lead times and coordinate logistics to prevent shortages and downtime.
- Monitor stock levels of FM consumables, tools, and spare parts to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with warehouse, maintenance, and site teams for effective stock control and replenishment.
- Track delivery schedules and ensure compliance with project timelines and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure all procured materials and services meet FM, safety, and engineering standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure performance, compliance, and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to UAE regulatory, HSE, and company procurement standards.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with contractors, service providers, and material suppliers.
- Resolve supplier performance or delivery issues to maintain uninterrupted site operations.
- Identify and qualify alternate suppliers to mitigate risk and ensure supply continuity.
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities within FM categories.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis for FM procurement.
- Prepare and maintain procurement dashboards and reports covering cost, delivery, and supplier KPIs.
