About The Role

You’ll be building the core C++ systems that power a high-performance crypto market-making desk. The job is equal parts engineering discipline and performance obsession. Your work directly shapes latency, throughput, and execution quality — the lifeblood of a market maker.

You’ll own components end-to-end: market-data ingestion, pricing engines, execution gateways, exchange connectivity, internal APIs, and real-time risk controls.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement low-latency C++ components for pricing, quoting, and execution.
• Build high-performance market-data pipelines across centralised and decentralised exchanges.
• Optimise systems down to the metal: CPU affinity, lock-free structures, cache efficiency, vectorisation.
• Implement and maintain exchange connectors (REST, WebSocket, FIX, proprietary APIs).
• Work closely with traders and quants to translate strategy requirements into robust production code.
• Build and maintain automated testing, simulation tools, and monitoring for 24/7 crypto markets.
• Debug real-time production issues in high-throughput environments.
• Collaborate with infra engineers to fine-tune networking, colocation, and system configurations.
  
  
  

What You Need

• Strong modern C++ (C++17/20) fundamentals — templates, concurrency, memory management.
• Understanding of low-latency systems, multithreading, lock-free programming, and performance profiling.
• Experience with Linux systems and network programming.
• Knowledge of market microstructure and electronic trading (crypto or traditional).
• Ability to write clean, deterministic, production-safe code under time pressure.
• Familiarity with real-time distributed systems.
• Strong debugging instincts and comfort with 24/7 production systems.

• Built or contributed to a market-making engine or execution platform.
• Experience building connectors to Binance/Bybit/OKX/etc.
• Knowledge of Python for tooling and orchestration.
• Exposure to colocation, kernel bypass networking, DPDK, or FPGA pipelines.
